About the Concert

Atkins Young Artists Program is a project, bringing to Mariinsky world's leading teachers, coaches, tutors and consultants on the art of singing, traditions and practices of opera performing, languages, music styles, acting techniques, interpretation, stage movement, etc. Atkins Fellows are young singers, whose talents have been publicly acknowledged at most prestigious international competitions and festivals. The Program provides them with exceptional opportunities for artistic development and professional growth. Together with chances to master their vocal skills, Atkins Fellows perform and tour with the core Mariinsky troupe as well as with their own concert and charity concert programs, study in Europe and the USA, work with theater administrators and managers, PR agencies and have opportunities to audition for future engagements with most successful artistic agencies, opera companies and chamber ensembles.
