On 26 and 27 August the Mariinsky Ballet Company and Orchestra will be performing at the X Baltic Sea Nations’ Festival in Stockholm under the baton of Valery Gergiev

From 20 to 23 July, the Mariinsky Opera Company and soloists and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev will be performing at the Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden.

On 13 July Viktoria Tereshkina will be making her debut in the title role in Michel Fokine’s ballet The Firebird, followed by Yulia Stepanova on 14 July

On 8 July Timur Askerov will be appearing as Solor in La Bayadère for the first time (choreography by Marius Petipa, revised version by Vladimir Ponomarev and Vakhtang Chabukiani)

On 7 July in the ballet Le Corsaire with choreography by Marius Petipa and Pyotr Gusev, Oxana Skorik will be performing the role of Medora for the first time

GQ magazine has nominated Mariinsky Opera Company soloist Maxim Aksenov for the title Man of the Year in the category “Discovery of the Year”
