About the performers

Since 2006 the Vernet-Meckler Organ Duet has dazzled audiences across the world promoting the new repertoire for four-hand organ music. The duet’s recordings have won many prizes including Diapason d’Or and Choc du Monde de la Musique.
The musicians have performed at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Salle Philharmonique in Liège, Auditorium Maurice Ravel in Lyon, Philharmonie de Paris as well as at the International Organ Festival of Andorre, International Organ Festival in Poblet, Avignon Festival, International Organ Festival of Monaco and the Pablo Casals Festival.
In addition to its concert activity Vernet-Meckler Organ Duet devotes a large part of its activity to searching and developing organ duet repertoire. The composers Julien Bret, Pierre Cholley, Tal Zilber, Philip Robert Buttal, John Carmichael, Charles Balayer, Narcís Bonet, Hervé Lesvenan, Gunnar Idenstam have dedicated pieces especially for them.
