About the performers

The  Trio Vitruvi was founded in 2013. The ensemble has been privileged to work with its mentor, Professor Tim Frederiksen, at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and many hours spent rehearsing reached a turning point half a year later in 2014 at the Danish Radio’s Chamber Music Competition, which is held every three years. The Trio Vitruvi won both 1st prize and the Audience Award and went on two weeks later to win yet another 1st prize in Latvia at the Jūrmala International Music Competition. Since then they have been performing concerts at the greatest concert halls in Denmark, and have given concerts throughout most of Europe, in Russia and in China.
Since spring 2015, the Trio Vitruvi has been a part of ECMA, the European Chamber Music Academy. The Trio Vitruvi has also recently been invited to join the cellist Professor Jérôme Pernoo’s Centre de Musique de Chambre while studying Perfectionnement de Musique de Chambre at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris.
