The Ballet Company on tour in Italy

From 4 to 7 April the Mariinsky Ballet will be presenting Ludwig Minkus’ ballet Don Quixote in Bari, Italy.

The Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari is one of the most important opera houses in Italy and the country’s fourth largest. It opened in 1903, was rebuilt in 2008 following a fire and can seat almost one and a half thousand people.
From 4 to 7 April the Mariinsky Ballet will be giving five performances of Don Quixote with the orchestra of Bari’s Teatro Petruzzelli under the baton of Boris Gruzin. The lead roles are to be performed by Elena Yevseyeva and Vladimir Shklyarov (4 and 7 April), Valeria Martynyuk and Kim Kimin (5 and 7 (matinee) April) and Yekaterina Osmolkina and Filipp Styopin (6 April).
