On 9 December Ilya Kuznetsov will be making his debut as Spartacus. | |||||

Ilya Kuznetsov’s repertoire includes numerous diverse and even polar roles. In Romeo and Juliet he can transform himself with ease from the romantic Romeo into the furious Tybalt, in Giselle he can be both the poetic Albrecht and the simple-minded Hans and in Swan Lake he has appeared as the aristocratic Prince Siegfried and the evil genius von Rothbart. Ilya Kuznetsov has marked talent as an actor, something particularly clear in dramatic and character roles. In his movements one can sense his power – he is incredibly temperamental, which is ideal for the role of Spartacus in the eponymous ballet by Aram Khachaturian with choreography by Leonid Yakobson.
The same day, Yulia Kobzar will be making her debut as one of the hetaerae and Yekaterina Ivannikova will be performing the Etruscan Dance. |
