On 14 October at 18:00 at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre Valery Gergiev and Natalia Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region, will be presenting the results of the unique cultural project The Year of the Mariinsky Theatre in Yugra and revealing plans for future co-operation between the theatre and the region.
The press meeting will be informal with tea and coffee being served.
You are invited to attend the concert Valery Gergiev Presents Young Soloists from Yugra, at which young performers from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region will be performing alongside Denis Matsuev and the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev. The pianist will be performing Johannes Brahms’ First Piano Concerto for the first time for an audience in St Petersburg.
