
Eva Gevorgyan was born in Moscow in 2004. In 2022 she graduated from the Central Music School of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Natalia Trull), since that year Eva has been a student of the conservatory (class of the same teacher). She is also studying at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid (class of Stanislav Ioudenitch). Previously Eva had studied under Stanislav Ioudenitch, William Grant Naboré and Dmitri Bashkirov at the International Piano Academy Lake Como and under Andrea Bonatta at the Piano Academy Eppan (Appiano sulla Strada del Vino, South Tyrol, Italy). Has taken part in masterclasses given by Pavel Gililov, Grigory Gruzman, Piotr Paleczny and Klaus Hellwig.

Prize-winner at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth (Szafarnia, Poland, 2014; 1st prize), the Santa Cecilia International Competition (Porto, Portugal, 2015; 1st prize), the International Giuliano Pecar Piano Competition (Gorizia, Italy, 2016; Grand Prix), the International Competition for Young Pianists Astana Piano Passion (2017; 2nd prize and Audience Award), the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition (Düsseldorf, 2017; 1st prize), the International Competition for Young Pianists Grand Piano Competition (Moscow, 2018; five special prizes), the Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Artists (2018; 1st prize and prize for the best performance of a work by Bach), the Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition (Dallas, 2019; 2nd prize and Press Award), the All-Russian Competition Young Talents of Russia (Moscow, 2019), the Chicago International Music Competition (2020; Grand Prix and prize for the best performance of a work by Chopin), the International Piano Competition Jeune Chopin for Children and Youth (Martigny, Switzerland, 2020 (the jury was chaired by Martha Argerich); 1st prize) and the 1st Grand All-Russian Selection of the Russian National Orchestra (Moscow, 2021; Grand Prix) among other contests. Took the Prize for the Youngest Female Finalist at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (Warsaw, 2021). Won 3rd prize and the Bronze Medal at the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors (Moscow, 2022). Winner of the Öschberghof Piano Festival (Donaueschingen, Germany, 2021) and the Prix du Piano Bern competition (2023).
She received an ICMA (International Classical Music Award) in the category “Discovery of the Year” (2019), as well as the Prix Serdang, a Swiss piano award presented by its curator, Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder (2026).

Has taken part in the Verbier Festival (Switzerland), the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron (France), the Duszniki International Chopin Piano Festival (Poland), the Eilat Chamber Music Festival (Israel), the Mariinsky International Piano Festival, the Music Fest Perugia and the festivals Stars of the White Nights (St Petersburg), Stars on Baikal (Irkutsk), ClaviCologne (Cologne) and Piano Without Borders (Kazan) to name but a few. Has toured to Austria, Great Britain, France, the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, Liechtenstein, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Israel, Armenia, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Morocco, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Monaco, Sweden, Norway, Taiwan, Cyprus and Malta.
Has collaborated with such ensembles as the Mariinsky Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra), the Russian National Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, the Gewandhausorchester (Leipzig), the Brussels Philharmonic, London’s Academy of St Martin in the Fields and Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo’s NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and Romania’s Bacău Philharmonic Orchestra.
Has worked with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Alexander Sladkovsky, Vasily Petrenko, Lawrence Foster, Valery Polyansky, Stéphane Denève, Alexander Liebreich, Andrey Boreiko, George Pehlivanian, Jaime Martín, Dimitris Botinis, Gerhardt Zimmermann, Eduard Topchjan, Pyotr Gribanov and Ilmar Lapiņš.
In 2019 she gave a recital at London’s Royal Albert Hall, and in 2025 – opened Emir Kusturica’s festival Kustendorf Classic (Serbia).
Her chamber music partners include Pablo Ferrández, Kristóf Baráti and Julia Fischer.
Has performed at the Mariinsky Theatre, the Tonhalle Zürich, Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional de Música, the Sydney Opera House, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Seoul Arts Center, Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall, Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes and Prague’s Rudolfinum among many other venues.
Participant in programmes of the St Petersburg Music House (since 2020) and the Moscow Philharmonic Society.
In 2021 she received the title of “Young Yamaha Artist”. Orpheus Radio Artist.
In 2022 the Melodiya label released Eva Gevorgyan’s first solo disc with works by Scriabin and Chopin.
