Alexander Lyubashin


Choreographer
Graduated from the choreography department of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire.
From 2002–2004 at the Canon Dance school of jazz-modern, he taught dance styles including jazz, Afro, modern jazz and modern dance, working with dancers from the USA, France, the UK, Sweden and Finland.
Since 2006, he has been the coach with the Chudesniki (Little Miracles) children’s modern dance ensemble in St Petersburg.
He has been involved in the projects Distance (Lipetsk, 2003), the Reflection festival (Kiev, 2005), the I International Training CongressWhite Nights of Hip‑Hop (St Petersburg, 2007), Open Dance festival (Tobolsk, 2007).
As a choreographer, he has worked with theatres including Comic Trust (Spam for the Führer), the Actors’ Refuge (Diaries of a Genius).
Prize-winner of the AGON young choreographers’ competition (St Petersburg, 2007).
