Mariinsky Theatre soloist Ildar Abdrazakov about the new Mariinsky Theatre:

«I am absolutely delighted that here in St Petersburg we have this grand new theatre, one that is equipped with the most amazing technology. The Mariinsky II is the only theatre in the world that can transform the seemingly impossible into reality. I am so happy that very soon I will be performing on that stage and will become part of its history.
I am sincerely grateful to maestro Gergiev for this gift to the city and to us, those who perform at the theatre. And, of course, I congratulate all my colleagues on the imminent opening of the new theatre. I wish everyone great success!».
