Valery Gergiev Elected Co-Chairman of the Theatre Union of the Russian Federation

On December 4, 2023 Valery Gergiev, serving as the General Director of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia and as the Artistic and General Director of the Mariinsky Theatre, was elected Co-Chairman for the musical division of the Theatre Union of the Russian Federation. This significant appointment was made at an extraordinary congress of the Union.
