On 22 November (19.00), the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre will host a recital of Anna Netrebko (soprano), People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.

The concert’s programme is comprised of songs and romances by French, American, German, Czech, British, and Russian composers, including Sergei Rachmaninoff, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Richard Strauss, Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, Gustave Charpentier, Jacques Offenbach, Antonín Dvořák, Frank Bridge, and Douglas Moore. Zlata Bulycheva (mezzo-soprano), a soloist with the Mariinsky Opera, will also take part in the soirée performance. Malcolm Martineau will provide piano accompaniment.

The performance is part of Anna Netrebko’s world tour. The same programme has already been presented in Graz (Austria) and Prague (Czech Republic). This December, Anna Netrebko is set to perform the programme at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Carnegie Hall (New York). In the summer of 2019, Anna Netrebko will appear at two European opera festivals, in Baden-Baden and Munich, together with Malcolm Martineau.
