Changes have been made to the January playbill. On 8 January instead of the previously planned semi-staged performance of Georges Bizet's opera Carmen marking thirty years of the stage career of Olga Borodina, People's Artist of Russia, there will be a performance of the opera Carmen staged by Alexei Stepanyuk. The lead roles will be performed by Anna Kiknadze (Carmen), Akhmed Agadi (Don José), Irina Churilova (Micaëla) and Roman Burdenko (Escamillo). Conductor: Christian Knapp.
