The Mariinsky Theatre will pay its respects to opera company bass-baritone soloist Edward Tsanga with a concert dedication. On 30 January at 19.00 the Concert Hall will host a performance by the singer's friends and colleagues – soloists of the Mariinsky Opera and the Academy of Young Opera Singers, as well as the Mariinsky Orchestra. Upcoming opera performances will also be dedicated to the memory of Edward Tsanga – performances in which he was due to take part, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro (26 January), Kirill Molchanov's The Dawns Here Are Quiet (27 January) and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's The Snow Maiden (28 January).
