The latest release on the Mariinsky label featuring a recording of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony and music from the ballet The Nutcracker was listed among the best Christmas albums of 2016 according to WMFT radio (Chicago).
The new recording, produced by the Mariinsky Orchestra under Valery Gergiev in 2015 to mark one hundred and seventy-five years since the birth of the composer, was released on 14 October 2016 in Super Audio CD format.
The new release is available on the official Mariinsky label site, Apple Music and iTunes.
