On 3 December Mariinsky-FM internet radio will be broadcasting a live concert by the State Borodin Quartet from the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre.
The State Borodin Quartet is a legendary ensemble that was founded in 1945 and which has retained its reputation as one of the finest quartet ensembles as well as its own inimitable style regardless of the succession of new generations of soloists. The performance by the ensemble opens a series of concerts including the Russian Quartets by Haydn and Beethoven.
