The dancer was invited to join the Mariinsky Ballet following her appearance at the Moscow Ballet and Choreography Competition. Although Yekaterina Chebykina was not a prize-winner, receiving only an honorary diploma, her Moscow performance was well received by the public and critics who praised her refined performing technique, execution, tenderness and elegance. The dancer began to assimilate the St Petersburg style with minor solo roles. In Cinderella she will be appearing in a new role – the playful and comic character of Khudyshka. |
