The Mariinsky Media opens its season of broadcasts

On 20 September the Mariinsky Media opens its season of broadcasts. There will be performances by the outstanding contemporary soloists Vadim Repin, Alexander Kniazev and Nikolai Lugansky of instrumental trios by Brahms and Tchaikovsky.

On 22 September Mariinsky Media will be broadcasting Olga Borodina’s anniversary concert from the Mariinsky Theatre. The broadcast begins at 20:00 Moscow Time (GMT+4).

On the eve of Olga Borodina’s anniversary concert, Mariinsky FM’s internet radio programme will feature operas starring the singer – Modest Musorgsky’s Khovanshchina (Olga Borodina as Marfa) and Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor (Olga Borodina as Konchakovna). A recording of an interview with Olga Borodina for Mariinsky FM is also available.

Modest Musorgsky. Khovanshchina: 19 September at 13:05 and 21:05; 20 September at 05:05 and 21 September at 22:40;

Alexander Borodin. Prince Igor: 20 September at 14:35 and 22:35, 21 September at 06:40 and 14:40;
