Debuts in Cinderella

The title role will be danced by Nadezhda Batoeva for the first time. Over her four-year career at the Mariinsky Theatre she has performed numerous minor solo roles, while at the end of the last season she brilliantly overcame all the choreographic demands of the trio in the premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s Concerto DSСH. Cinderella will be her first title role in a ballet.

The same evening will also see performances by Sofia Ivanova-Skoblikova as Kubishka, Andrei Arseniev as Autumn and Yelizaveta Antonova in the Female Dance. These three dancers graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet this year and joined the Mariinsky Ballet, where they are taking their first steps to assimilate the theatre’s repertoire.
