The press conference will also be attended by Valery Shadrin (General Director of the Chekhov International Theatre Festival), Mikhail Ioffe (Branch Manager of VTB 24, St Petersburg), Michel Grange (Director of the Institut français in St Petersburg) and Eddie Shapira (Consul General of the State of Israel in St Petersburg).
The press conference will focus on two performances by the Batsheva Dance Company at the Mariinsky Theatre as part of the Stars of the White Nights festival. The company’s tour also opens the Days of Tel Aviv in St Petersburg festival. The production Deca Dance is being presented by the Chekhov International Theatre Festival Regional Charitable Support Foundation as part of the regional programme of the XI Chekhov International Theatre Festival.
