On 2 May several television stations will be broadcasting the grand gala opening concert at the new stage, marking the start of a new chapter in the history of the Mariinsky Theatre. The live broadcast of the grand gala begins at 20:00 (Moscow time) on Mezzo TV for international audiences, while Russia’s Channel 1 will be broadcasting for Russian audiences from 21:20 immediately after the news programme Vremya.
