On 19 September at 15:00 Valery Gergiev will be holding a press-conference marking the opening of the 230th season at the Mariinsky Theatre and the 7th season at the Concert Hall.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing our plans for the extremely intense coming season during which the theatre will be commemorating Rodion Shchedrin’s eightieth birthday, staging a series of premieres and special events marking two centuries since the births of Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner and running the International Piano Festival, the Mariinsky ballet festival and the Stars of the White Nights festival.
