Timur Askerov began his stage career at the Mariinsky Theatre mid last season when he performed the Pas de trоis and subsequently the role of Prince Siegfried in Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov’s masterpiece Swan Lake. The role of Count Albrecht in Giselle who is in love with the protagonist will be the dancer’s second major role at the Mariinsky Theatre. The role of Giselle will be performed by Oxana Skorik. | ||||
