 | Stage Director Alyona Anokhina was born in Khabarovsk. Graduated from the acting faculty of the Byelorussian Academy of Arts. For several years she worked at the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre (Minsk), where she performed as Ophelia (Hamlet), Alison (Look in Fury) and Princess Reya (Romulus the Great). Graduated from the Studio School of the Chekhov MKhAT (studio of Kama Ginkas). Productions she has staged include Kaluzhanov´s The Pitchfork, Sebastian´s Nameless Star, Chekhov´s Ward 6 and Nikiforova´s Hidden Costs. Currently Alyona Anokhina has been invited to join the teaching staff of the Chekhov MKhAt Studio School. |
