Elena Androsova


Born in Yukhnov, Kaluga Region.
Graduated from the Perm School of Dance in 1995. Joined the Mariinsky Ballet in 1996.

Her repertoire included La Sylphide (Nancy, Sylphs), Giselle (Monna), La Bayadère (D’Jampe, Grand pas, Trio of Shades), Swan Lake (Friends of the Prince, Brides of the Prince, Swans, Mazurka), The Sleeping Beauty (Gold Fairy, Silver Fairy), Raymonda (Variation), Don Quixote (Flower-Seller, Act IV Variation), Michel Fokine’s ballets Chopiniana (Nocturne, Eleventh Waltz), Pétrouchka (Nurse) and Le Carnaval (Chiarina), George Balanchine’s ballets Serenade, Symphony in C (III. Allegro vivace), Jewels (Diamonds), Theme and Variations, Piano Concerto No 2 (Ballet Imperial), La Valse and The Four Temperaments (Melancholy), Rostislav Zakharov’s The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Maria, Noblewomen), William Forsythe’s The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude. She participated in the ballets Le Sacre du printemps by Vaslav Nijinsky, Les Noces by Bronislava Nijinska, Five Tango's by Hans van Manen, Concerto DSCH by Alexei Ratmansky, Ondine by Pierre Lacotte.

Coach with the Mariinsky Ballet since 2018.
