Luca Attilii


Video Designer

Luca Attilii is an expert in digital technology and has worked in the fields of video, graphic and industrial design. Attilii has worked with stage directors who use multimedia technology in their productions, among them Alfredo Arias (Dracula Opera Rock, Gran Teatro Roma and Arena di Verona, 2006), Lorenzo Mariani (Candide, Naples’ Teatro San Carlo, 2007, and Opera di Roma, 2012), Ricardo Pais (Sombras at the Teatro Nacional São João, Portugal, 2010) and Giorgio Barberio Corsetti (Falstaff at the Opéra National du Rhin, 2009). He has worked with musicians including Antonella Ruggiero, Gianni Maroccolo and Katia Labèque. In 2004 together with stage director Fabio Massimo Iaquone, Attilii founded the studio IAQUONEATTILII. Attilii also works with dance companies; he has designed for productions of Ballo Sport (Accademia Nazionale di Danza, Rome) and Du Don de Soi (Companhia Nacional de Bailado, Lisbon, choreographed by Paulo Ribiero). His most recent production was inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s work and was staged at the Centro Cultural de Belém. With the choreographer Paulo Ribiero he has also worked on the multimedia projects Jim dedicated to singer Jim Morrison. Luca Attilii has produced adverts for the companies Unioncamere and Infocamere, the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, Metro5 in Milan and the pharmaceutical company Sigma-Tau.
