Polina Krasovskaya


Violin

Polina Krasovskaya was born in St Petersburg. In 2018 she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (violin class of Pavel Popov, chamber ensemble class of Inga Dzektser), and is currently an assistant trainee there while also studying at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (composition class of Yury Vorontsov).

Recipient of the St Petersburg Government Prize Young Talents (2012) and the Valery Gavrilin Governor’s International Youth Competition (Vologda, 2013) in the categories “Violin” and “Composition”. Has also been a prize-winner at the Maria Yudina International Competition for Pianists, Piano Duos and Chamber Ensembles (St Petersburg, 2015) and the Gaidamovich International Competition and Festival of Chamber Ensemble Performance (Magnitogorsk, 2016), appearing together with the Trio Sensibile.

Participant in music academies in the Netherlands (The International Holland Music Sessions, 2015–2017) and Germany (the Frenswegen Sommerakademie für Kammermusik, 2015), the programmes Embassy of Excellence of the St Petersburg Music House at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid. Performs concerts in Russia and Europe, appearing in Koblenz and Ludwigslust (Germany), Bergen and Amsterdam (Netherlands) and other cities.
