Lyubov Stekolshchikova

Violin

Graduated with distinction in 2013 from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Mikhail Gantwarg) and is currently continuing her studies at the conservatoire as an assistant trainee.

Prize-winner at the Window on Europe International Competition (1^stnd prize, 2008, and 1^st prize, 2013, Kazan), the I Open Vaiman Violin Competition (1^st prize, 2009), the International Abadjiev Competition (2^nd prize, Bulgaria, 2013), the I International Auer Violin Competition (1^st prize, St Petersburg, 2014), and the II All-Russian Music Competition (1^st prize, Moscow, 2014).

Since 2011 she has appeared with the St Petersburg Soloists chamber ensemble. Frequently performs in recital.
