Elena Chernokoz was born in Brest and graduated from the Belorussian State Academy of Music. Diploma-recipient at the Delphi Games International Youth Competition (Düsseldorf) and the January Music Evenings international festival (Brest).
In 2008 at the International Orchestra Festival in Bayreuth she appeared as leader in the youth orchestra under Gabriel Feltz.
Has taken part in master-classes conducted by such outstanding contemporary musicians as Mikhail Gantvarg, Zakhar Bron, Oleksandr Bondurianskyi, Liana Isakadze, Olga Parkhomenko, Daniel Draganov and Kolja Blacher.
From 2009–2013 she was a member of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, and in 2013 she joined the Mariinsky Orchestra.
