Irina Vaneyeva was born in Syktyvkar. Graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Vladimir Vaneyev) in 2012. Trained at St Petersburg’s Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music and received her master’s degree in vocal art from St Petersburg’s Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia.
In 2007 she sang the role of Tsarevich Fyodor in Boris Godunov at the Maxim Mikhailov International Opera Festival in Cheboksary.
Was a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers from 2012 to 2023. Made her Mariinsky Theatre debut in 2019, appearing in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk. Since 2023 she has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Opera Company.

Associate professor at the Solo Singing Department of the St Petersburg Conservatory, senior lecturer at the Solo Singing Department of St Petersburg’s Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia.
