Tatiana Kravtsova studied at the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Nina Serval). She has been a Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 1987.

Tatiana Kravtsova has toured with the Mariinsky Opera Company to Switzerland, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Scotland (Edinburgh Festival), the USA (Metropolitan Opera), Israel, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Finland. She has also sung the role of Norma (Norma) at the Ravello Opera Festival. In 1992, she performed in the gala concert Pacific Voices (San Francisco).

The singer’s discography includes recordings of The Fiery Angel and Iolanta (Philips Classics), Die Zauberflöte (Decca), Satires, a vocal cycle by Shostakovich to poetry by Sasha Chorny (accompanist Larisa Gergieva, BBC) and songs by Mozart (accompanist Irina Golovneva).
