Viktor Vikhrov

In 1980 Viktor Vikhrov graduated from the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. While still a student, he appeared at the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Conservatoire, where he performed roles including Faust (Faust), Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia), the Prince (Rusalka), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Alfredo (La traviata), Cavaradossi (Tosca) and a Young Gypsy (Aleko). Between 1987 and 1995 he taught at the department of solo singing of the vocal and directing faculty at the Conservatoire.
Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 1991.
