Born in Yoshkar-Ola. In 2008 he graduated from the vocals faculty of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Nikolai Okhotnikov, People’s Artist of the USSR).
Soloist with the St Petersburg Conservatoire Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2008.
Repertoire includes: General Polkan (The Golden Cockerel), Sobakin (The Tsar’s Bride), René, Bertrand (Iolanta), Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Surin (The Queen of Spades), Gudal, Old Servant (The Demon), Balda (The Tale of the Priest and His Workman Balda), Bertrand, a Peasant (The Maid of Orleans), Young Lad (Semyon Kotko), Dr Grenville (La traviata), Drago, a Ghost (Genoveva), Antonio (Le nozze di Figaro), the Jailer (Tosca), a Monk (Don Carlo), Wagner (Faust) and Peter (Jesus on the Mount of Olives).
In 2007 he took part in a premiere performance of Dmitry Shostakovich’s opera The Tale of the Priest and His Workman Balda (Balda) in Norway and Ireland.
In 2014 he performed the roles of General Polkan (The Golden Cockerel) and Surin (The Queen of Spades at the international festival Opera for All (St Petersburg).
