Daria Tereshchenko graduated from the Donetsk State Prokofiev Musical Academy, completing her studies in choral conducting (2017) and classical singing (2019). She is currently an assistant trainee at the Solo Singing Department of the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory.

From 2017 to 2022 Daria Tereshchenko was a soloist at the Solovyanenko Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (Donbass Opera), and during 2022–2023 – at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2023 she has been a guest soloist with the Perm Opera.

Made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre in November 2023, first appearing in the concert A Dedication to Georgy Sviridov with the romance The Forest Sheds Its Crimson Dress (Pushkin–Sviridov), and then performing Rachmaninoff’s romances Morning, Oh, Do Not Grieve! and I Wait for Thee. In February 2024 she took part in her first staged Mariinsky Theatre production, portraying Nezhata in Sadko.
