• Prize-winner at the 3rd Georg Ots International Music Festival-Competition (St Petersburg, 2019; 2nd prize)
• Prize-winner at the 53rd International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition (Karlovy Vary, 2018; 2nd prize in the opera section and 1st prize in the chamber music section)
• Recipient of the St Petersburg Youth Prize for Artistic Creativity (2013)

Daria Rositskaya was born in Leningrad. In 2008 she graduated from St Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy (course of Professor Alexander Petrov and vocals class of Yulia Kotkina).

Soloist with the Zazerkalye St Petersburg State Children’s Musical Theatre since 2006.

Has attended masterclasses conducted by Stephan Rügamer in Germany, Ian Partridge in Great Britain and Franco Pagliazzi in Italy.

In 2018 she was a prize-winner at the International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition and won an award from the National Theatre in Prague – her debut at that venue. Appeared in the Czech premiere of the opera Lolita (2019) when she performed the role of Charlotte Haze.

In 2020 Daria Rositskaya made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre, singing the part of Charlotte at the theatre’s premiere of Lolita.

Her repertoire includes: Isabella (L’italiana in Algeri), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Lel (The Snow Maiden), Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Carmen and Mercédès (Carmen), Zita (Gianni Schicchi), Lyubasha and Dunyasha (The Tsar’s Bride), Olga and Larina (Eugene Onegin), Laura (Iolanta) and Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus) among other roles.
