• Prize-winner at the I International Vocalists’ Competition Grand-Prix of St Petersburg

Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 2002. From 1998–2001 he was a soloist with the Musorgsky Opera and Ballet Theatre (now the Mikhailovsky Theatre).
From 2001–2008 he was a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers. Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 2008.
Joined the Mariinsky Opera Company in 2017.

In 2005 he made his debut with the Mariinsky Opera Company as Ivan (The Nose) at the Opéra Bastille and as the Conte di Libenskof (Il viaggio a Reims) at the Théâtre du Châtelet. He has taken part in international festivals and has toured to the USA, Great Britain, France, Spain, Germany, Finland and Japan.
