Pascal Reber


Organist, pianist and composer

Pascal Reber was born in 1961. Started his musical studies (piano, organ, music theory) in his home city, Mulhouse, department of Haut-Rhin, and subsequently improved his skills in the organ and improvisation classes of Daniel Roth at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, where he won several prizes as an organist, pianist and music theorist. From 1990 to 1991 Pascal Reber studied improvisation at the Hochschule für Musik Saar in Saarbrücken, Germany.

In 1998 he became the winner of an international improvisation competition in Strasbourg.

Was a répétiteur at the Opéra national du Rhin, Strasbourg, and at a dance school in the same city.
Since 2009 Pascal Reber has been an organ teacher and répétiteur at the Conservatoire de Saint-Louis, department of Haut-Rhin. He is also the titular organist at Strasbourg Cathedral and Mulhouse’s Église Saint-Étienne.

The artist practices improvisation during his recitals around the world.

He wrote numerous works for organ, piano, choir and ensemble.

Has recorded several CDs.
