Ksenia Ryzhkova graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (class of Marina Leonova) in 2013. Was a leading soloist with the Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre (2013–2016), a principal dancer with Munich’s Bayerisches Staatsballett (2016–2019, 2020–2022) and the Ballett Zürich (2019–2020). Since 2021 she has performed leading roles at the Sevastopol State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and since 2022 she has also appeared as a guest principal dancer at the Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre. Has worked with distinguished teachers and choreographers including Natalia Makarova, Olga Evreinova, Christopher Wheeldon, Liam Scarlett, Wayne McGregor, Ben Hughes and Reid Anderson. In 2025 Ksenia Ryzhkova was appointed Artistic Director of Ballet at the Sevastopol State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
