Olga Viktorova is a composer, teacher, public figure and member of the Union of Composers of Russia. Has composed chamber and symphony music that has been performed on numerous occasions in Russia and abroad (Belgium, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, France, Canada and Luxembourg). Teaches composition at the Urals State Musorgsky Conservatoire. For many years she has co-ordinated projects connected with contemporary art. In 2012 she wrote the symphonic work Lux Aeterna commissioned by the Urals Youth Symphony Orchestra. That same year she was awarded 1st prize for this work at the Berlin competition European Composer Award.
