Christian Koch  Musical assistant and accompanist

Born in Austria and living in Vienna, where he works as a freelance conductor and pianist, as well as a musical and vocal coach. After completing his vocal education, he began performing as a tenor soloist, mostly in performances of church music, while teaching at the Car inthian Conservatoire and working at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt.
He began his conducting career as Master of the Choir and Orchestra at Klagenfurt Cathedral, conducting a wide variety of masses from Mozart to Puccini´s Messa di Gloria. He is also well-known as a conductor of Viennese operetta and gala concerts.
Christian Koch has been invited to several prestigious festivals – including the Salzburg Festival, the Aix-en-Provence Festival and the Wiener Festwochen – as assistant conductor to Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Rene Jacobs, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Harding, and many others.
He coaches several international singers, both in preparation of operatic roles and as an accompanist for solo recitals.
