Christoph Forey


Lighting Designer

Born in France, Christoph Forey has designed the lighting for numerous opera, dance and theatre productions since 1985.
Theatre credits with director Bruno Boeglin include such productions as Roberto Zucco by Bernard-Marie Koltès.

Since his first collaboration in 1996 on a production of Hamlet at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, he has worked with directors Patrice Caurier and Moshe Leiser on a number of other opera productions including Carmen, Fidelio, Mahagonny, Leonore, Der Rosenkavalier, Ariane et Barbe-Bleue, Jenufa and Der Ring des Niebelungen at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Orphée et Euridyce and La cenerentolaat the Royal Opera House in London, The Nose by Shostakovich at the Opéra de Lausanne and Lucia di Lammermoor at the Théâtre du Châtelet.
He has also worked with directors Silviu Purarete (Parsifal in Edinburgh with Scottish Opera)and Gunther Kramer (Ariadne auf Naxos at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris).
