Choreographer
Graduate of the Novosibirsk State Ballet School and of the choreography department of the St Petersburg Conservatoire. Upon graduating from the conservatoire he became a dancer and subsequently a coach with the St Petersburg Conservatoire Opera and Ballet Theatre. Soloist with the Angolino Ballet St Petersburg Baroque Dance Company. Has worked for the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. Has staged opera and ballet productions in Yakutsk and St Petersburg among other cities. His productions include the ballets Pulcinella, Jeu de cartes, Coppélia and the opera L’Orfeo (which he choreographed and directed) as well as dances in the operas Mozart and Salieri and The Maid of Orleans. For several seasons he has been the Ballet-Master of the Opera for All Time festival. Since December 2011 he has been director of the ballet company of the St Petersburg Conservatoire Opera and Ballet Theatre.
