Was born in Yerevan. Graduated from the Gnessins College (Moscow) and Hochschule für Musik by Hanns Eisler (Berlin), where he was given lessons by Professor Thomas Quasthoff.
Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers since 2010.
