Dinar Dzhusoev


• Grand Prix recipient at the XII Fyodor Chaliapin International Choral and Vocal Art Festival and Competition (Yalta, 2012)
• Prize-winner at the Pavel Lisitsian International Competition (Vladikavkaz, 2013, 1st prize)
• Prize-winner at the I Opera without Borders international young opera singers' competition (Krasnodar, 2014, 2nd prize)
• Prize-winner at the Maxim Mikhailov International Chamber Vocal Music Performers' Competition (Kaluga, 2014, 1st prize)

Born in Tatarstan. Graduated from the Kazan Aukhadeyev College of Music and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. Studied under Anatoly Loshak and Movsar Mintsaev. Furthered his studies on a master's degree course at the Maimonides State Classical Academy.

Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers since 2013. Has toured with concert programmes in Russia, France, Germany, Turkey and Ukraine.

Roles performed at the Mariinsky Theatre include:
Commissioner (La travita)
Alidoro (La Cenerentola in concert)
Pandolfe (Cendrillon in concert)
Drebednev (Moscow, Cheryomushki in concert)
Grassini (The Gadfly in concert)
the King (The Giant)
and Grandfather Yeroshka (The Cossacks in concert)

The singer's repertoire also includes the roles of Ferrando (Il trovatore), Osmin (Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Gremin (Eugene Onegin) and Sobakin (The Tsar's Bride).
