Born in Vladikavkaz. Graduated from the Russian State Herzen Pedagogical University.
Since 2007 he has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers.
Has appeared in productions and concert performances of operas including Rimsky-Korsakov’s May Night and Christmas Eve, Musorgsky’s Salammbô and The Fair at Sorochintsy, Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta and The Oprichnik, Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges and The Giant, Dzerzhinsky’s Quiet Flows the Don, Shostakovich’s The Nose and Moscow, Cheryomushki, Spadavecchia’s The Gadfly, Khrennikov’s Into the Storm and The Boy Giant, Molchanov’s The Dawns Here are Quiet, Shebalin’s The Taming of the Shrew, Shchedrin’s Not Love Alone, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Le nozze di Figaro, Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, La Cenerentola, L’italiana in Algeri and Il barbiere di Siviglia, Leoncavallo’s I pagliacci, Verdi’s Il trovatore, Massenet’s Don Quichotte (together with Ferruccio Furlanetto), de Falla’s La vida breve, Dvořák’s Rusalka, Donizetti’s La Fille du régiment and Britten’s Billy Budd (Mikhailovsky Theatre).
