The Glorious Seven, as they are generally referred to in press reviews, never fail to take their audiences by storm. Their new CD Fascination Dance has just been released by the leading label Deutsche Grammophon (UNIVERSAL) and has already reached the top of the Austrian charts. Four members of the Wiener Philharmoniker, a cellist from the Berliner Philharmoniker, a brilliant jazz violinist and an excellent piano soloist together comprise The Philharmonics. Their classical sound, nuanced phrasing and virtuosity merge the time-honoured tradition of Central European folklore, ethnic inspiration and fascinating dances with the magic of improvisation. The joyous tones of the chamber music that forms the basis of the musicians’ repertoire never fail to provide new and exhilarating experiences and musical adventures for audiences at concert halls throughout the world.
