On July 25th, we have released the 10th release on the Mariinsky Label, own record label of the Mariinsky Theatre. We have recorded Lucia di Lammermoor, an opera by Gaetano Donizetti starring a highly acclaimed soprano Natalie Dessay in the title part and one of today’s leading tenors Piotr Beczała singing the part of Edgar. This recording had been made in September 2010 at the Mariinsky Concert Hall and features Mariinsky Opera singers, Mariinsky Chorus and Mariinsky Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev.
