Tugan Sokhiev will be conducting a concert featuring soloist Olga Borodina together with the Mariinsky Orchestra

On 28 October at the Concert Hall there will be a performance featuring soloist Olga Borodina under the baton of Tugan Sokhiev with the Mariinsky Orchestra instead of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the theatre’s control, instead of the two previously planned concerts with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under the baton of Tugan Sokhiev there will be just one concert. On 27 October at the Mariinsky II the French orchestra will present Anatoly Lyadov’s The Enchanted Lake, Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No 1 with the dazzling virtuoso violinist Renaud Capuçon and Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations.

On 28 October at the Concert Hall Sokhiev will be conducting the Mariinsky Orchestra. The concert programme includes Modest Musorgsky’s song cycle Songs and Dances of Death with soloist Olga Borodina and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphony suite Schéhérazade.
Concert tickets remain valid.
