Sergey Bogoslavsky graduated from the Faculty of Vocal Studies and Directing of the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory, having specialised in “musical theatre directing”.
Has worked at the Mariinsky Theatre since 2010. As an assistant director he took part in the preparation of the productions Boris Godunov, The Oprichnik, The Tsar’s Bride, Not Love Alone, The Lefthander, The Idiot, Œdipus Rex, Der Schauspieldirektor, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Il viaggio a Reims, L’elisir d’amore, Don Carlo, Il trovatore, La fanciulla del West, Die Fledermaus, Carmen, Pelléas et Mélisande, The Turn of the Screw and The Makropulos Affair.
