Born in Leningrad.
Graduated from the Leningrad Academic Vaganova School of Dance in 1964 (class of Elena Shiripina). From 1964-1986 at the Leningrad Kirov Theatre of Opera and Ballet she performed roles in productions including Don Quixote (Street Dancer), La Bayadère (Hindu Dance, D’Jampe), Swan Lake (Mazurka), The Sleeping Beauty (Gold Fairy, Courage Fairy), Le Corsaire (Forban Dance) and Spanish Miniatures (an Islander) among others.
From 1987-1988 she worked as a teacher at the Leningrad State Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre.
Since 1989 to 2021 she has been a teacher and coach with the Mariinsky Ballet, worked with the corps de ballet.

She died on 8 June 2021.
